I sure think so... Think about how lazy and incompetent a lot of people are at their jobs... They hide behind laws the employer can not break. I am not saying get rid of all labor laws... but I think an employer should be able to hit their employees under certain circumstances. The severity of the attack would depend on how negatively the action affected business from running smoothly.
They are a great band. Very talented... meaningful songs... Some real ability there. Certainly serious musicians.
[QUOTE="Gaming-Planet"][QUOTE="aransom"]To me I see it as it destroys a potential of a human life. It's not life yet until it starts functioning. It has no conscious. Consciousness is not a prerequisite for life..... No, but we can pretend it is. Problem solved.People are against abortion because they believe it destroys a human life.

I would want them dead because they took something from me that I loved... not because of any right or anything. Rights don't mean anything to me. They are imaginary like laws or any other given rule. I am not saying I support hurting people, or causing harm for no valid reason... but rights have nothing to do with it.[QUOTE="Diablo112688"][QUOTE="DanteSuikoden"]
I understand exactly what you mean and agree at some extent but why not support rights that benefit us?
(Going off topic)
If you were killed or someone you care for was killed would you not want the murderer persecuted for violation of your or your cared one's natural rights regardless of it being from above or made by us?
DanteSuikoden
Even if these rights were based off the feelings that I highlighted??
Yes. Even so.[QUOTE="Diablo112688"] No. Nobody has a right to anything... we made everything up... nothing is set in stone... It isn't like someone came down from the heavens and stated what our rights are. Everything is made up... I can not stress that enough. These so called rights only apply under certain circumstances... we have no actual rights. I don't know if you are understanding my point. DanteSuikoden

The two people who had sex and made the child to be... should be the ones who decide... with the mother having more of a say since she will be the one carrying it. Nobody else should interfere... Not the authorities or anyone else with fake pulled out of thin air morals. DanteSuikoden
I can see how you dont believe in a god but you dont believe in natural rights?
(pertaining to "pulled out of thin air morals")

There is no god... there is no ultimate truth... do whatever the hell you want... but be ready to face the possible consequence of whatever action you may take.GHlegend77That.... could be taken many ways. You can't just say with a sense of finality that there is no God. Some people, such as myself, choose to believe in a or the God and that life is a gift from God. You can't say there's no God without being dead. Well I guess I forgot the words..."I believe" before the words, "there is no god" It is absurd to believe in the typical god most people claim exists. It makes no sense. I can't really wrap my head around people following something blindly without questioning it from every angle.
