Elden Ring on PS5 has higher average FPS, much faster loading, and a bigger playerbase than the Xbox Series version.
Despite all that, I bought Elden Ring on the Series X simply because it has VRR. It has a huge impact on how smooth the game looks and feels, and I couldn't imagine playing without it.
It's beyond me how Sony is taking this long to add this feature.
@dancol1986: Game sounds and looks amazing. What are you on about? Also, why even post something like this? What's your goal?
Fanboyism is such a waste. I personally can't wait to play Horizon. This along with Elden Ring are the highlights for me this year. Gonna play both on PS5.
I just gotta wrap up a couple games on my Switch and Series X really quick so I can focus on Horizon.
@x_hedon: I had an Xbox Series controller for PC and I still preferred the DualSense. Great controller but I didn't like the dpad and the buttons were noisy as heck.
I just use a modded DS4 on PC now.
On PS5, I do turn off some of the haptics in certain games. It's neat at first, but depending on the game it can get annoying.
