Yeah I aint really too happy with the idea of them being circle pads and from the looks of things the buttons at the back are just buttons like the classic controllers ZL and ZR (I think thats the names) instead of triggers which I feel it would benefit from personally. Ah well...

This is gonna be a dumb question im sure but are the analogue pads on the Wii U circle pads like the PSP and 3DS or more analogue stick style like all the other consoles? I really hope its more like the later as I don't feel circle pads are half as comfortable... anyone got any idea or know of any articles discussing them at all through hands on reports? Thanks

I was wondering how long left you had on your course in English? Cause if its only a year or so perhaps its best to finish that first to ensure possibly career failures if the acting doesn't go to plan. Otherwise I would personally go with the acting route, its not the smarter decision I know, but lifes for living, assuming you could pick up your studies where you left off at a later date then where is the harm. In pursuing acting though I would think it would be best to set specific goals for periods of times, realistically if you haven't found work or ain't having fun within X period of time then perhaps it isn't the best choice. Hope you make the right choice regardless of which it is.

[QUOTE="Starseed"]I am just trying Half Life for the first time, I seem to move so quickly! It seems quite difficult to control lol.mattuk69
You mean looking around with your mouse? Because you can turn the sensitivity of the mouse down in the options to how you like it.

I mean actually walking, it seems very loose. I had trouble lining up just to walk up some stairs. This is gonna take some getting used to especially with using the mouse in the right hand as well.

Yeah I would like to try a game like Team Fortress but considering it has been out for years I would assume the only people still playing it are incredibly good so I don't think I would have much fun currently.

That is pretty much why I am looking into playing on the PC. There are so many games that I haven't played that I am very interested in trying and now that I have a usable laptop I think that its the right time to try. Unfortunately I live in the UK so I cant take advantage of the deal at Wallmart although I am interested in trying the Total War games. I have previously played Portal on the Xbox although I was considering giving that a go on here because as Velocitas said that is a good game that I could try. Also that Audiosurf game looks very interesting. Is it available on Steam at all? Which do you think would be better to start with Battlefield or Call of Duty 2? Or which is the better game? I have previously completed Call of Duty 4 on the Xbox and I tried Battlefield Bad Company but for some reason I was not a fan of that, but I would be happy to try either if they are slow and accessible for new people. Thanks for your suggestions guys.

Hey guys, I am new to pc gaming having not played much on the pc since Diablo 2. Been on consoles since then. However I am currently looking to get into pc gaming again but I am having difficulty using the keyboard and mouse for games such as FPS' I have just been playing Singularity but the enemies are a bit too fast for me. Could anyone recommend a FPS that is maybe a bit slower paced or better for easing someone new to the control scheme in? I must also say I am left handed and have always held the mouse in my left hand, so now that I am using it in my right hand that feels odd and uncomfortable but I am trying to get used to it so I am worst than most. I am happy to play older games too, or perhaps classics are a must to play. Thanks guys.

Could be Pop'n Twinbee? I remember playing it when I was young and the first level was sort of based on earth.
