One thing the PS3 lacks on is improving anti-aliasing. The better graphics get, the more this sticks out to me. It's a shame dev's have such a struggle coding PS3 games. I heard the process is a pain in the butt. It makes me wonder if the GPU bottlenecks the performance. Realistically speaking, running games at 720p is pretty rough with high detail, let alone 1080p. I have seen the RE5 screenshots and have played the KZ2 demo. I'd say they are both very graphically enhanced compared to many titles out there! Different styles, though.

The beeps are even more annoying when HL2 or any other game that freezes.. Well... Freezes up and you have to reboot.. The triple "beep, beep, beep!" I can read colors and can hear a system running. This is why my PC doesn't have a system speaker for the bootup-beeps. It's also why car alarms have a silent arm/disarm mode. Some people just don't dig stupid beeps. I'm one of those beepin' haters! Perhaps a small piercing in the system speaker on the PS3 shall silence it for good.. Now, where is the damned little speaker at?! :)
I think it's a dumb feature to have. None of my other equipment needs to beep because they either have power-on LEDs (which the PS3 has) or LCD panels that make me fully aware of it running. Maybe one day we'll have a way to hack the PS3's mainframe... Maybe.
People have a right to review and tell us their opinion on a game....But at the same time, this should have been in a blog and or a review.Or if he did want to make a post he should of made something on the lines of a highly detailed post about the game...Problem is there is already one of those in the General Gaming forum.K1LLR3175Sooo.. In other words people have rights they can exercise but they should be exercised properly? Fascinating! :D I agree with you entirely, despite my sarcasm. In fact, I'd be a lot less worried about even reading this thread if it were subject-related in the topic alone! "just wanted to share..." didn't exactly prepare me for a RE5 users' review that was probably thought out immediately after 24hrs+ of gaming. Case in point, name your topic "My RE5 review" or something that will give me a precursor of what your post will have to say. The problem you mention (review thread already out there) just goes to show how worthless some users find the search feature to truly be... Or maybe it's because other threads start off with "FYI to all" rather than the topic they want to discuss... Maybe I'm just burning brain cells thinking to hard about something that doesn't really matter to me all that much anyways... :) Maybe, eh?
So you're saying it could be because of fluctuations? is a fluctuation where the power goes slightly up for a second, and not because of an electrical storm? I'll talk to my dad about hiring an electrician.hydralisk86The problem most likely is the electrical layout of your home. Most older electrical systems preexisting in homes weren't intended for high loads of modern technology. Keep in mind, this place might have been wired when ceiling fans were an ammenity most didn't have along with TVs, dish washers, PCs, laptops charging, high output audio systems, cable boxes, VCRs/DVD players/Blu Ray systems. Therefore, the place can be running on as few as 4 circuits for 2 floors. If this is the case, it's fluctuating DOWN. The draw is greater than the output, increasing heat and reducing electrical efficiency to your products that you try to power. Is this place running fuses or circuit breakers? If it is breakers, how many are there and how many floors does it have? Running new electrical wires may not be a bad idea and can be done relatively easily (at least, without any of the problems an electrician may bump into) along with a breaker box that can add more breakers to spread the load more evenly throughout your rooms. I had the same problem in my condo. 4 fuses for 7 rooms. 2 of them were for the 220v in-wall AC units. You do the math! I couldn't even plug my PS3 into the wall without shorting a circuit!!
Is that a Canadian Comedy skit? :D Or are you referring to Justin Timberlake's song?! Hmm.. I'm concerned.Cry me a river ..
