Def going to wait for a used copy of this game, and I'm talking a year or so down the road when it hits 10 bucks. The survival mode looks lame, the AI have their same stupid movement patterns as all the other CODs and still seem to "know" your location even without some type of line of sight. That video not only disinterested me a bit more, but made me realize that all the real talent from that department is gone. Battle Field 3 is going to take charge this year, as it should. The only reason this game is going to sell well is because the ability of the company to hype the game and the fan base it has generated over the years are very loyal. I however don't see this copy breaking any records as it has done in the past... and when I hear them boast about how the previous releases have shattered sales records (which is has) is a clear sign that they are saying "Buy this verison, because the other verisons where good sellers..." not a very strong selling point for a new game, I look for the developer to say new improvements to the game instead but none of that...

I purchase games because of the quality, rather then because I liked the last one and want to experience the new one with new maps, weapons, and minor additions...

Unlike the last NFS its pretty easy to setup your controls in Forza, adjusting shouldn't be a hard thing for ya'.

The biggest thing you'll feel in the differ from the two games is that Forza is a simulation racing game, and NFS is what I'd call a "action/effect" racing game, like flat-out and what not. If you ever raced on a enclosed track, or had a rather powerful car then you'll enjoy Forza since relation to whats going on is there, and get a on the edge feel when you are plowing the correct line and busting ahead of your last lap by .500 of a second... The last NFS was fun, don't get me wrong, but it was by no means realistic. I did enjoy the bluring they added at high speeds - on the straights it really makes you feel like you are booking.

Forza crowd = in general they are hardcore guys that like cars, racing, and want to enjoy the most realist ( is that even a word? Sorry... ) on edge racing experience they can get...

NFS crowd = younger kids, want to spray NOS, add body kits for the hell of it, and just want to purchase the turbo package 3 without investing in the brakes.

I own both and enjoy NFS when I've had afew beers and want that going fast in a straight line blur without having the look for the cops, but when I want to scare myself time to hop in a nice Z06 Vet and try to tame the rear wheel drive power while coming outa the corners smooth on Forza. Figure out what type of racing games are your TYPE.

Mhmm, playing the first is a must - playing the second (The Lost and the Damned - biker gang one) is ok, I wasn't very impressed and didn't enjoy putting hours of riding in on the stupid bikes (my opinion) but the last one they released is VERY good. I enjoyed it highly.

The games got alot to it, and they keep adding it. GTA has always been a stable game to play and that seems rare now a days. You got alot of hours of play time ahead of you - enjoy.

I enjoyed G@y Tony much more then the TLAD. Riding the freakin' bikes around got old and annoying, but hitting someone with golf balls on a caged course? Stealing a crazy war helo? (Small Spoiler) Fightin' in the underground for your mexican la madre - only to have her cuss you if you throw the fight? I enjoyed the second one MUCH more. They added dodge chargers also right? Or is that just me?

The Nurbugring Norsdhceldidfelsi is the best, regardless if you are playing it on Forza or any other game. The track pushes you in all areas and is hard to memorize since there are so many turns. It supplies a crazy back-road feel and also opens up in other areas. I also love how hard it is to make a pass on others (if you ae behaving yourself) since it always supplies that "Tight" feeling... you sim guys know what I mean.

I've yet to pick up Forza 3. Guess I'm over due.

I was wondering the same thing - it seemed like a rather big download, the older/prior updates they would tell you what they did atleast.

What the yellin' kitty cat said above. Booooo twin placed joy-sticks. I love the 360 setup... takes longer for my hands to cramp up it seems using the 360 sticks as compaired to PS3, and I just can't seem to get used to PS3 sticks after prolonged 360... ;(

Controller Jet-Lag I guess.

Dead Space is worth it. That game will make you a mental mess, turn the lights off, the sound up, and watch your back. Its one I've held on to not going to return it because its a really good horror piece. Half the games intent to keep in single player is to scare the crap out of you, and it will. I let the friends that never played it borrow it - its fun just to watch someone play this caliber of a game.

You'll enjoy - buy a six pack with that game you'll need someone to take the edge off sir.

I highly enjoyed the demo, Forza is a product of quality and it can be trusted. I'll most likely be picking it up although lately driving games have been taking a back-seat in my playing list...

This time of the year always gets crazy. Sadly I am getting neither, to many other games I'm interested in are coming out. Summer time I might get around to them but I'm saving them for later since all the good games come out this time of the year... Still never got around to fallout 3.
