I was on Anandtech the other day and they said pretty much the same thing. As far as the more affordable cards, it's between the 8800GTS 640MB, the 8800GTS 320MB, and the Radeon HD 2900 XT 512MB. To sum up in a few sentences, their basic results were: - 8800 GTS 320MB has great performance, but if you can pay the extra $60 or so and jump up to the 640MB, you should. - ATI does not do as well as the GeForce 8800GTS 640MB on most games, but tends to perform a little better than the GeForce on higher resolutions (higher than 1600x1200) WITH high levels of anti-aliasing on (8x). Personally, I have had horrible experiences with every Radeon I have ever owned and have had good experiences with Nvidia and the GeForces. Take it for what it's worth. In any case, this analysis isn't all that far off Anandtech, and you know those guys really do their homework.

Wow, can't you guys give us one day of solace from your America-hating? On the day where we celebrate the greatness of our contry, you'd think people might give us a break... I love my country and I think it's the best country in the world. So sue me. And I think all of the C&C Red Alert games and C&C Generals should be up there.
