The last 3 paragraphs, along with the video, are a direct copy and paste from another article.

Well done Gamespot.

I knew this game would only be average, but I didn't expect the company to have one of the worst failures in recent times. Guess that's what you get with a brand new IP and a charge of $60 for it along with a load of expensive DLC and pre-order/demo/etc. rewards that give you direct ingame power. Can't believe it's still on sale for $60.

PS: What the hell is this terrible comment system? The old one was way more functional and far less clunky.

The nickel and diming of publishers is shoving people back towards piracy when they stopped pirating due to easy to use digital distribution services (like Steam). The gaming industry has turned to trash, seems it's only getting worse.

The game is average. I cannot understand why people are all freaked out about it. Even Day9 is dedicating day to a marathon play of it on release. I just don't see the appeal. I played through the entire demo, I recorded the entire thing (poorly because I need to fix my local recording settings, maybe adjust the location of some games on my drives. See it here http://www.youtube.com/AceStrife), and it wasn't that appealing. The graphics are by far the worst part of the game; it feels like a console port with no effort put into increasing the fidelity for PC users. Maybe the full release will be better, maybe it will get better over time. But as it stands, well, it's just average. Not bad, not good, but just average. Feel free to disagree with me (that's what opinions are anyway), but I just didn't really enjoy it. Oh and, the game will be $60 on PC. Yeah, forget that. Thanks again for screwing the PC industry (especially in our economic status), Activision.

The problem with consoles is that fullscreen-blurring effect they do to give a false impression of anti-aliasing. It is absolutely disgusting and extremely noticeable to me (WHY do so many others not notice this?). A good comparison example is Dead Space on PC; it even called the option 'anti-aliasing' when it was painfully obvious that it was not anti-aliasing. (In the config file it said 'Edge-AA' (think Crysis), which is anything but anti-aliasing.) As for MW2, the PC version has REAL anti-aliasing while the console ones have the fake version. Now, go enhance your PC version with 16xQ AA, 16xAF, SSTAA (supersampling transparency anti-aliasing) and Ambient Occlusion (all of which are possible with an NVIDIA card, which is what I do), then set it up for comparison. It clearly blows everything else away. Higher resolution on PC is a bad comparison choice (the textures look the same, it's just that there is less, if any, anisotropic filtering on the consoles) and doesn't mean a thing when developers force blur the console versions. I really wish they'd stop.

Testing Windows 7 made me install Vista again. I'm a 'classic' user. I use the classic start menu (and explorer views). Windows 7 completely removed it, quick launch and classic desktop icons, killing the way I use Windows, which is the reason I went back to Vista, because it still had classic features. I found the new taskbar clunky to work with, trying to 'pin' apps removed the button when I clicked on it. I could not figure out a way to get quick launch functionality manually. And trying to navigate the new menu (XP onward) with keyboard shortcuts? Forget it. Reduced efficiency at working with Operating Systems should not come in an 'upgrade' (Vista was the same way.. but most things could be changed back). I honestly see no reason why they removed Classic support when it was in Vista (and even early builds of 7). Some changes were welcome, others were not. Faster boot times, less storage space consumed in this Beta state (faster installation) and... that's about all I can remember. I did not use it for very long due to the absolute loathing of the removed Classic features. (No gaming done, no other performance tests, time was spent browsing functionality) I can only hope there's more people like me, and user feedback gets to Microsoft so they add Classic support back. Otherwise, I personally don't see a reason to use Windows 7 (Which some might say is Vista SP3).

Ultra High shadows murders my FPS for some absurd reason (sporadic changes from 24 to 0.83). Even though Very High works just fine I'm going to wait for another patch or better drivers.
