Haha Microsoft are geniuses. They upgrade and fix issues years after the console releases knowing that their fanbase with more money than sense will rush to pay for whatever MS offers them.


Good for MS, bad for early adopters. Actually all those 360 slim buyers were late adopters and still might end up spending to get the next best thing.

Not sure if anyone has brought this up, but does anyone realize Crytek has more staff than Valve, Epic, and ID combined. Yes i am using wikipedia as a source but it can't be that off.

Valve - 225 Employees

Epic Games -130 Employees

id Software - 115 Employees

Crytek - 550 Employees

Infinity Ward - 60 Employees

Considering that Valve also runs Steam their team dedicated to the engine/games alone is probably around 120 like epic and ID. But Infinity Ward only has 60 employees and look how their engine seems to be seen as one of the best so maybe quality > quantity?

Do you think this will give them a huge advantage when it comes to developing their game engine?
