If you don't play the games or systems, don't know the content, then you are just reading dry statistics like a robot with zero context. Clearly there are more great Japanese game than Western ones, just look at this very website's GOTY awards for a place to start. True, there are more Western games than Japanese titles, but only because there are more Western developers. It's a case of quantity over quality there.
