And I want games with complex male characters. Why is every male chiseled out of stone, 6' tall and completely ripped? Why can't I play as a short, acne-scarred boy with no size-able upper body strength?
I am enjoying the game though I would have liked to see it take more cues from Resistance 3. Non-regenerating health and weapons that you level up by using them rather than equipping upgrades. Where the Resistance series has always fallen down for me is in the story. The setting that Insomniac created is interesting. I feel that it's underutilized though.
@Petnos Unfortunately developers do seem to set the bar lower for handheld titles. The original developers of a series rarely seem to make handheld entries. It's usually sourced out to another company. The gems that usually shine through are games that don't try to replicate their console counterparts and attempt something new. There are still plenty of great handheld games out there. For what it's worth I picked up Resistance: Burning Skies last night and am enjoying it more than I thought I would. Though I'm only 1-2 hours into it.

@liam82517 I don't think anyone should blindly follow their "fellow gamers." Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Regardless of how it effects you.Gamers have proven time and again that they're whiny and don't actually know what they want. But they sure do love to complain.Not that all gamers are like that. It just seems to be that the most outspoken are often that way. The actual gamers are too busy playing their games.
I would vote for Devil May Cry 4 over 3. I thought it was very cool that you had to protect Kyrie during the credits for 90 seconds to unlock the true ending. I feel like there was a missed opportunity by Gamespot here to end this video with some very long and boring credits... or perhaps just Peter Molyneux stroking his cat as the credits roll by. And as everyone else has said: No Snake Eater? For shame.
So the Vita fails because the memory is too expensive, it's too big, it's not a phone and the system is too expensive? Yet the iPad is great for gaming despite the fact that it's not a phone, it's twice as expensive as the Vita, costs $100 for each memory upgrade and is larger as well? Also, can't forget that the games are cheaper because they're nowhere near the quality of dedicated gaming handhelds. What am I missing here?
