I dont get your point.[QUOTE="Elraptor"]Hmmm, then why would I infinitely prefer resisting lust to keeping faith? :PSpybot_9
But you dont have to infinitely resist it,you will get everything in paradise and you can marry.
Rubbish. I'm pretty sure that trying to rape Jesus is a punishable offence, even in paradise.
[QUOTE="Lansdowne5"]I have no pre-existing assumptions because my beliefs are based entirely on the Bible.PannicAtackThat's still a forgone conclusion. >_>
Exactly, he is still assuming that the bible is 100% fact.
How come we have never been successful at building one, despite failed opportunities to move blocks weighing 2 tons?Knowledge33
Evidence? Anyway, it's kinda hard in this day and age to get a good 100,000 slaves so that you can build one.

Anywhere in the region of 5-50 professional criminals not being able to hit one guy with seemingly endless machine gun fire.

But that is the whole basis for shoot 'em up! I love that film :D
The bad guys clearly attended the Imperial Stormtrooper Marksmanship Academy
[QUOTE="foxhound_fox"]I don't understand how anyone who has played and enjoyed the original Fallout's for being Fallout could ever have a desire to play Fallout 3. I can see people who have never played the originals seeing the appeal of a free-roaming post-apoc shooter but it just doesn't seem like it will be "Fallout."
It is like Bungie has gone and done a direct sequel to Riven.

Desire to play it isn't the same as appreciating its existence. I don't expect Fallout fans to want to play it... I expect them to smarten up and realize that this is likely their last shot at ever getting enough interest in the franchise again to ever generate a "real" Fallout sequel. They SHOULD be sending Bethesda floweres and donuts in hopes that they make a game that makes a ton of money and gets some more industry interest in the currently dead franchise. Instead they're all but sending bomb threats.
But Bethesda are all about family friendly games, compared to Interplay and Black Isle at least. Bethesda have publisised the game far too much to have anything less than a 'squeaky clean' representation of the wastelands. They are going to have to axe the things that made Fallout, Fallout. I would rather the series died than have a shallow sequel.
I'm the same; the main quest is better, there's more to do, more opportunities for role playing and it's better written. However, the start is criminally slow. I almost think twice about replaying the game because I hate going through the start.[QUOTE="RobbieH1234"][QUOTE="Makari"]I loved Fallout 1 & 2 (though I preferred 2, which puts me in the minority) - I'm looking forward to this game quite a bit.thrones
The temple is a massive piece of **** in Fallout 2, though I still prefer Fallout 2 because it just feels more... evolutionary, you start as a tribesman and work up from there.
Calm down, it wasn't that bad. I always try and leech every bit of xp from that place. It's easy enough to get up and running afterwards though. Incidentally, I found Oblivion to be a real dissapointment. And i'm a member of NMA.... So that should cement my opinion of fallout 3 for you.
