Its just a shame TECMO aren't following suit, instead of holding back the Fatal Frame series by bringing it to Wii exclusively (so far at least anyway).

Next-Gen hardware and HD has a lot more potential for bringing the genre forward. Greater atmosphere and raising the fear factor with even better special effects is the way to go, better ways to scare you. A fancy controller can't do that.

I totally agree with this.

If the games that are already coming out like Man Hunt 2 perform well, you will see games like Silent hill come to the wii as well.

I also agree about the wii user base. There are some hardcore gamers.

Although I would argue there are a lot of wii owners who think they are hardcore and are in fact not.

To be hardcore you really need a wide gaming background and that includes bieng a High end PC gamer for at least a short time in your life.

I say this becouse I thought I knew what was up, then about 5 years ago I boughta truly high end rig, console MP games are still years behind PC games.

You really need that background.
