Sure, hunting is easy, but hunting in real life is easy. You just shoot a defenseless animal. Keep in mind that this game takes place in 1911, not 2010. Animals were everywhere because eastern technology hadn't expanded many of the cities enough to drive the animals to secluded parts. The common animals are easy to kill, yes, but bears and cougars and such can be dangerous. Just wait till you get attacked by a pack of cougars, your horse goes down, and three of them maul you at once. It's not so easy when that happens. Take my word for it, I got raped.bryu_1337

Ha. lol thats funny.

[QUOTE="Melpoe"] Well Obsidian is developing Fallout:New Vegas and Beth is publishing it.

Thing is though Obsidian made Fallout 1 and 2 so really New Vegas is the true Fallout 3, and imo New Vegas for that very reason shall be better then Fallout 3 since the creators of the originals are working on it.

NaveedLife

doubt that

I dont, since F3 is SUPER overrated (and rather boring) :P. I hear F1 and F2 are more like Diablo games which sounds great to me!

I didn't know fallout 1 and 2 won game of the year. It must have slipped my mind when I saw them on the shelf for $10. Fallout 3 sucked me in for over 120 hours of play and my friends too. I can even say that it's in my top 3 fav games.

I think what your trying to say is, is it possible to play the single player campaign without an internet connection. If that's what your asking, I don't think you do. If that's not what your asking, I'm an a**.

As the title reads, is Read dead redemption worth the price of admission for its offline content alone? I'm stuck without a proper internet connection for the next 3 months. I wanted to know about the lenght of the main quest, the quality and quantity of the side missions and the replay value. Also wanted to know if it's worth playing again as an evil character? Thanks guys :)

umair_s51

I say it's worth it. The only thing you really do ONline is do what you do on the single player but with online people. It's kinda fun racking up XP to make your character better, and it's pretty fun just playing with your friend in general. But it is a great single player game and long too. Alot to do and you'll never feel like your done exploring.

Thanks for the input. A quick question, has any one tried the downloadable PS3 exclusive challenges yet, are they any good?

Yeah there aren't really a whole bunch of them yet. I don't even really know if there are more coming, but there good.

I have not fought a bear yet so I hope they can kill you in 1 or 2 hits.

But yes the hunting is easy but like the one person said it is not a hunting game, however once you get your little skill for hunting up to level 9 you have to hunt "rare" animals by luring them out with bait.

Melpoe

Like I said before. I KNOW IT'S NOT A HUNTING GAME? I just think in a game were there are many things to do, one of the main things you do should be challenging. I didn't say they should throw you in a stand and make you sit there for an hour to see a coon.
