buy a new processor, oc it, buy 2 gigs of RAM (if u can even find stuff to work with the mobo)
and idk
just buy a new comp lol
I had been dabbling with changing clock speeds and stuff in Riva/nTune, but eventually just deleted Riva cuz it blue screened my comp when checking for default speeds and it scared me lol, so i'm sorta using nTune but stopped pretty much b/c i decided just to do OCing in the BIOS when i'm ready. anyway, since stopping (and with everything being at factory, b/c ntune resets everything everytime u turn ur computer off (which is dumb but yeah)) my computer has been running really slow, and now at startup everytime its the same thing (this is after windows boots up and its on my desktop) it loads some stuff, the mouse pauses for a second (like where i can't move it) then there's a small freeze, then the screen turns black then comes back after a second and a little more loading and there we have it.and it never used to do that. and now it always does. and its also running slower like i said.
did the OC'ing eff it up? it kinda feels like its just running slow cuz it was getting kind of used to the higher speed and now its just lazy haha
WHAT's GOIN ON?!! i don't mind trying out some OC'ing in the BIOS later on, but i don't want to have to rely on it, as in, it should be normal and feeling all factory speed-like
Thanks
is it possible to overclock the fans on my comp or CPU but keep them in auto? what i mean is: i want it to be auto (becuase i dont' always want it to be on high speeds) but i want the range to go higher. like just shift the "auto fan speed range" up a little cuz i want more fan speed at higher temps during games etc.
how do i do this on either Riva tuner or bios seeing as Ntune doesn't let me touch the fans... (btw riva tuner is really confusing. u have like, unlock stuff? but the things in the power list section are all pretty random titles, some help on this please?)
ok i found the overclocking tab thing for graphics, with the core speed and memory speed. but when i try to change it i must test it, yet when i test it (even if i only add one mhz to the speed, it says the speed is too high, like instantly) somethin goin wrong here.
HELP PLEASE
