@RuthlessRich Fair points for sure. I think more research is actually worth investigating. Although, Human nature in essence boils down to the lowest common denominator. How we use the denominations do vary.

Backward Compatibility for me as well, Either that or re-release the older games just for download. Still preference is in having the game disc but not being able to play it on the new console. The best part about PC gaming is the ability to pick an old classic game and play it. Look at Steam and GOG as proof popularity of older games are growing, While in the PC you could run them and get better frame rates and achieve smoother movements than when the game originally came out. Anyway, I hope console makers there is this market that is untapped for the console.
