I voted for 360
I always liked the compact feel of dual shock controllers, although I loved the novelty of the n64 controller, and the perfect fit of the gamecube controller in my hand had made that my favorite back in the day. The original xbox controller was rubbish in any size, but now with the 360 controller imho I think Microsoft has made the best standard controller ever. It feels perfect, it works perfectly, it's just... perfect. And the fact that I can use the wired ver with my computer seals the deal. But still, the dualshock is an excellent controller as well, at least design-wise, but the initial exclusion of rumble and the **** disconnecting bluetooth is simply unforgiveable. For shame, Sony.
I read an article a while back.
Some people who have left their Wii's in standby mode connected to the internet via a wireless network have had their Wii's overheat to the point of damaging the GPU. It's rare and Nintendo will fix it or replace it for free if it happens, but if it has to be replaced you will not be refunded for your Virtual Console games.
[QUOTE="foxhound_fox"]You seem to know nothing about how this technology works... I don't and I can tell your wrong. :?
Sony was manufacturing the launch PS3 for nearly $850 USD... even if prices of parts have dropped by say $100, they would still be losing $50 for every one they sold. Sony wants, I assume, to make money off the PS3... at least, eventually. They don't need to drop the price now... it is not the reason why it is not selling, people buy gaming consoles to play games on them. The Blu-ray player feature is not a selling point for the average consumer ATM.
They need to drop the price once they start getting games that will sell on the system. i.e. this holiday season.downPlayDemon
yeah but they are willing to lose money on the ps3 to make money on the games. if the currents ps3 sales trends continue, they wont make money at all.
wait, how does this support your earlier statement... they are taking a loss on the systems to profit on the games, but the games arent making enough of a profit so.. they take a bigger loss on the system? ?!?!?

Graphics don't decide a console war.
And the Gamecube failed because of support and public image, not graphics.

if we're talking about today's gamers, yes, graphics decide the console war.
sure, thats why the wii is outselling the 360 and PS3 combined and the PS2 doubled the Xbox and GC sales combined. because they have the best graphics.ok, but, its not outselling them both combined... cmon, im trying to support my wii here and you have to make us nintys look like idiots... lets get the facts straight before you try to help out the cause, eh?
On a month-to-month basis in all regions combined, the Wii is in fact outselling the 360 and PS3 combined.
Yes it is. It's 5 to 1 and 25 to 1 in japan... that really adds up.
ah, see, i read it as in totals
