@mintcar Get real. The story was "darker", too dark if you ask me. I like my story to have logical events unfolding, I don't like Orsino randomly deciding to turn into an abomination. I don't like Anders randomly blowing up the chantry. And I don't like the fact that Hawke has no control over the events that occur. Huge decisions like Blowing up buildings and killing yourself usually have some sort of thought process! not random events to drive the story along. thats just it, all DA2 is! Dragon Age 2 fails to capture realism at the emotional level. It exists only for its ending, so that DA3 can have an "exciting backstory". I can only hope that with DA3 I will be a little less disappointed.
