That is not what she said or implied. Plenty of RPG’s poorly implement RPG features. That work in some games and do not work in others.

Quests are a big one. Some RPG’s have terrible quests and others have great ones. If you have 300 bland quests then that is a problem. It does not matter that it is an RPG.
