The DSi does seem kind of pointless when you look at how close together Nintendo is releasing their sibling systems.

I'm still on the DS lite, and that's only because my original broke. I've played the DSi, and it's not as though the gameplay for DS games is that much superior to the previous models. If I was to go ahead and buy another DS it would be the 3DS since so much attention is being focused towards it, and Nintendo would most likely take a break with their handhelds.;)

I agree with you that the SF series is a fun game with awesome features, and I have played all 3 of the games.(Leo,Saurian, and Black Ace)

The major flaw with all of these games is that the story lines are too linear, and the other problem is that collecting all of the battle cards is truly a pain in the backside.

In my opinion the strongest point in all of these games in the option to replay boss battles and compete for a better time than your battle mates. Overall the SF series games are slightly above average;)

Some people may still want to keep the usual grass/water/fire starter selection, other may want something else, so maybe they should increase the starter selection to 9 different pokes to choose from, for more variety.

In my opinion Pokemon games aren't dull or repetetive, they just follow the same formula with slight changes, and different story lines( though the story never significantly changes). Nintendo or whomever makes the Pokemon games needs to be a bit more creative in their approach to new pokemon games though. Pokemon Dash is a prime example of dull, and repetetive, though all the other Pokemon games I've played have been addicting at times. Maybe the day will come when they add aditional game mechanics, such as being able to dodge attacks, or use pokemon's individual abilites to progress through the region.

I've been reading up on alot of the 2010 releases, and of course, trailers, previews, and gameplay vids make the waiting unbearable.

In my opinion Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, and Pokemon Heart Gold, and Soul Silver are gonna be flying off of the shelves as soon as their stocked.
