@sdzald: I was just trying to point out the mindset of why nudity is a bigger deal to some people. I guess I am more worried about my kid getting someone pregnant though, since he's probably not going to be blowing up people.
I think the danger is that even if you're raised right, the game can still arouse you. Actually, the imagery of sex should arouse you no matter what. So it's sort of about protecting society from bad parenting, where their kids will go out and try what they see.
@marctheheretic: That's true. I wasn't talking about this game in particular, I'm just saying why we censor movies, music, games, etc. for nudity & sex more than violence. you're right though.
Why do some countries censor sex more than violence? Because sex is easier and more common to emulate than violence. Everyone has sex. Your kid is more likely to get aroused at a young age and want to go have sex than he is to go out and murder someone like commander shepard did.
The result can lead to unwanted pregnancies and adds to the overpopulation problem. Just saying, there is a reason for these censors.
@Metallicwolf29: Yeah, wow. They seem intent on warping the game into what "they think will sell" instead of doing a proper remake. I shoulda' known this disappointment would happen. I guess the original remains king...
