[QUOTE="GamejunkieUK"] I agree. I'm really baffeled why people are so bothered about non-essential features and function. It's a games console for pity's sake. Personally I don't want or care about non-gaming features especially an email app. I rather Sony focus on the gaming aspects and work on making those even better. The same goes for the web browser and texting. They're not needed and shouldn't be on the Vita.

Would be nice... And it's possible. Who doesn't like more features? (besides yourself)

I was initially on the fence about getting one as I felt the pricing was a bit high. In reality, that is the price we pay in any technology to have the "latest and greatest" launch gadgets. However, after selling a 3DS and some games, I ended up paying $200 for the console, lumines, and a 16GB memory. I had a treasure trove of PSP digital titles that seamlessly downloaded and I am really enjoying on them even more on the larger OLED screen (persona 3 portable is great). So far, I am happy I took the plunge. "Near" is sweet as I found there is 20+ vita owners in my neighborhood. I have a feeling things will get better and more features will be added. Facebook app just got added, netflix too. If you can afford it, I recommend it. If not, wait until the price comes down. Once you do buy one though, you will ask yourself why you waited so long.

I owned the 1000 (load times SUCKED), 2000 (good model), and now the 3000. I would have not noticed this issue if people weren't so damn picky. I mean, we shouldn't expect HD quality, smooth graphics, or high frame rates. It's PS2 graphics in the palm of our hand with a minor interlacing problem (that frankly is not too noticeable unless you have your nose to the screen). Although you may be trading the ghosting for interlacing, the brighter screen and richer colors is a BIG plus imo. Screen looks gorgeous to me, if I want top notch HD I will turn on my PS3 with the Sony Bravia.

Playing Daxter on the 3000 doesn't seem as foggy as compared to the 2000. Of course, this is according to my eye. Some may beg to differ.

I recommend staying with the 2000 if you already have one. If you don't own a PSP, get the 3000 by all means.

No, they don't plan on releasing it for the PSP.
