It's like Madden with Swords and Boards instead of a football.

Visually, it looks like good details.

Gameplay-wise, the game engine doesn't synch animations properly, things get really odd when multiple things are happening at the same time, invisible force-fields pop-up when one character is engaged with another character, blocking a 3rd party's actions out until the original animations are finished...

Looks too clunky for my tastes. But visually the textures are nice and the blood splatters are good. That's about it though.

Exactly how i feel about this games graphics. Some things look nice but too many inconsistances that ruin the whole presentation.

The gameplay looks very unpolished also.

 From what I remember of the current gen, the majority of multi-plats performed better on the console with "technically lower power" - the differences this time around should be just as negligible, no?

i don't think you can safely say which console is more powerful this gen. 

My point is that differenses in some cases where not negligible(framerate problems). i guess we disagree on that one.

sure graphical differenses wheren't that big but wasn't the framerate really bad in versions of some multiplats in the current gen while ps3 and 360 are very close in power? i think bad framerate is a big deal.

the difference could end up being insignificant but specs and developers say otherwise.  

what specs could i have been looking and what does the fact that they are both outdated have anything to do with one console being more powerfull than the other? i agree they are outdated and if you want power you will choose pc.

the thread is about the perfomance difference between ps4/x1 and the quotes are about wether the difference is going to be noticable in games

Besides the existance of piracy on consoles, this steam os is supposedly an os that will bring more ease of use for pc gaming in the living room not to mention that it will  probably have steam drm integrated in it as well, if someone is going to or is capable of altering files, hack, crack or whatever else he might as well use windows.

diablo 3 and starcraft 2 definetely didn't have a focus on graphics. Diablo 3 is worse than diablo 2 because it was a very different team (more experienced with a clear vision on what they where making and it's purpose) that made diablo 2 and also because with diablo 3 they wanted to reach a bigger audience and they wanted to milk that audiense as much as possible. 

Your list has only speculation on why some games are better than others which is also debatable.

There are undoubtably games where gameplay takes a back seat to presentation. i don't know if there are a lot more now than previous gens but i don't think so, your examples don't convince me at all.
