The problem was the CoD game. With the kind of power the Vita has, there was no excuse for that. The FPS is the most popular genre in the USA and what would have sold the Vita to many US gamers who already own consoles would have been to give them what they're addicted to; another CoD blockbuster. Hell, they could have even put Black Ops 2 on the Vita without changes and the system would have sold a ton.

It would have showcased everything necessary to get people into the system.
