@so_hai: I can talk just about me, but I'd say it (Heroes) is pretty much on the bottom of the list of Metroid games.

@Delston: First: It's a SpinOff for a reason.

Second: I don't get the point of "you have to be Samus to make a Metroid work", etc. Sometimes change can be good and interesting. Take Yoshis Island for example. Or Zelda, which does feature a different Link almost in every title. Here, you play in first person mode, like in any other prime, so you don't see much of your character anyways. It's not like the Metroidvanias with the iconic Samus-Armor you see the whole time. Of course I don't want to sugarcoat the game, but it is a solid single player game with multiplayer mode IN the Metroid universe. It does not destroy anything - at least for me.

@dominoodle: Nope - I think they made this more coop, etc. to make the series attractive again. As a matter of fact the last games (including Prime) did not sell that much after all. They did good, but far from perfect.

@so_hai: I'd say it's on the same "bad" level as Hunters.

It's okay. The Federation is part of the Metroid universe and it's nice to see it's getting some action on it's own. I don't dig the chibi-style that much and I don't like the Monsterhunter-like gameplay (mission based), but it does catch the feeling of Metroid Prime quite good and it can be a lot of fun if you are open for it. Of course that's just my POV, but it feels like most people just hate it for being on 3DS and because there is no Samus as main character.

Ultros? Could be Malboro as well. I know it doesn't have suckers, but the color as well as the face (at least what I see) could hint to Malboro just as much as it could be the "giant octopus monster".

So, they continue the zombie-esque stuff from "V" and mix it up with "The Last of Us" and "Resident Evil: The Mercenaries". Thanks, I pass...

However, I want to be fair! It can be good, but c'mon - they call it Metal Gear just for sales.

They have to release games after these six months too... I hope they know this.

Anyways, we already know what Zelda will be. I fear Pokemon will be Pokemon Go (rumor: NX will play Nintendos smartphone games), but I am in for any surprise here. Mario... Well, I do hope it's not another "NSMB" game, more something like 64, Sunshine, Galaxy, ... You get the idea. Just not Galaxy 3, because that would be another Galaxy.

@Maxx_the_Slash: Yeah "They have the right." I never said they are wrong or they have no rights. GEEZ!

All I am saying is: I don't get the fuzz about this. People always wanted Pokemon in RL, and Pokemon got it's rules. If I want to play Pokemon in RL I want to experience it the way it the way it is meant to be and that's walking around and if you find a Pokemon, you try to catch it. Not the other way around, like "you look where the Pokemon are and you go to fill your pokedex".

But this way it's more true to the original formula, is it not? It always was about discovering the wild pokemon while you explore, not about looking where the critters are and just collecting them knowing their locations.
