At some point, I think Nintendo will finally clue in on the proper ways to launch new hardware. Every time these launches happen, I tend to give them the benefit of the doubt. But I'm starting to realize that this ship will not change its course until they replace the person in charge of putting her out to sea...
@chrisbingle Honestly I doubt it will make much of an impact especially in the short-term but I do appreciate his initial statement which was anything new is welcomed. Competition will always be the best for everyone as it keeps all the key players on their toes and doesn't allow them to slack off.
@chrisbingle I think the part I was seeing was where Steam could take away potential 360 users if there's a better option for them and their TV. I don't think Steam will stand to pull away PC users, but it certainly could take a few existing console users and then Microsoft gets no revenue since Valve's machine wouldn't be running any of it...
Game continues to be a monster with sales! I have it on both 360 and PC and I have to admit, the 360 version with the recent update is very worthy especially for those that simply don't enjoy PC gaming. I have a few friends who I play with on it and they'll be getting it on PC soon I think.
I recently purchased what I thought were parts 1 and 2 of Deathly Hollows on Bluray. Upon opening up the disc set, it was both part 1 and 2 'Extras' discs, no friggin MOVIES. Looked up on Amazon and apparently this is a known issue. Glad Frys was so late to the party and had these for sale. What the ef is in the water with distribution these days?
What else can you do when you're on a ship that's sinking pretty quickly? I sooo wanted this game to succeed but nothing in the recent past seems to show it's going anywhere but down... so sad.
