To overheat one now you'd have to practically do in on purpose. I've had mine since launch and I leave it on for 36 hours at some points, and it's had no problems.

Friends of mine have gotten RROD but they leave in a claustraphobic shelf or even worse, lay it on the carpet.

It's a great system, and the 6 bucks a month for live is definitely worth it.

Ironically, THAW was the Tony Hawk game that killed it for me. Underground 1 and everything before it was amazing, underground 2 kind of dissapointed me, and THAW took all my dreams and crushed them into a million pieces.

Project 8 provided a smalll ounce of hope, but even that couldnt save it as we all know how terrible Proving grounds was.

Funniest game ive ever played: The Bards Tale, every 5 minutes I'd have to put the controller down and clench my chest to not sufficate from all the laughter.

I cant visit the dashboard without it freezing, if i want content i have to use the game to download stuff for it.

It also freezes everytime someone gets on and their name pops up and i check it.

This update is not fun:x

Bioshock did the impossible for me. I actually felt like i was in this dilapidated world rather than just a viewer from the outside. Everything that game tryed to pertray it performed perfectly.

So I say Bioshock, i have yet to play Assasins Creedor Mass Effect though

I played the demo of SKATE, and wow. It was a return to the first time i played THPS when a funky control scheme that i had no idea how to master made it all the mre pleaseurable. Now not to brag but im a tony hawk vet who owns every game (except american wasteland) and can rack up a 5million+ combo whenever i want, however i have to say im much more excited about SKATE than i am about the 2 new features were going to end up getting in tony hawk.

The Tony HAwk series has monopolized the extreme sports games industry for almost 8 years, i think its time for some competition!

Xbox live is not ripping us off, they need to make some profit. Keep in mind that although online on the PS3 is free it also cost a whopping 600 dollars. As for microsoft points many developers have made downloadable content over a year after the games release. I actually love the concept of microsoft points because it allowed me to buy the Shivering Isles expansion without having to leave my couch:)

However, somethings are a bit expensive, such as the meaningless downloads that EA has released, and i dont see any reason for me to buy an Elite.  I would of rather just seen a big hard drive on the market, but hey nothings perfect.
