Well my CPU right now it is a dual core and it is clocked at 2.7 ghz. I am not sure either but I think that for Grand Theft Auto 4 it is my CPU not my video card. Thanks for the info.

Well I looked on the Gigabyte website and seen what CPU's would work with my motherboard and they were both on the list. Is that enough info or do I need more. Plus I don't want to spend over $100.

My motherboard is a Gigabyte MA-770-UD3 and it is rev 1.0. Yeah I updated my bios to where it would accept AM3. But I will look and see what processor will work with it.

Hi I need help deciding which CPU would be right for my computer. I am upgrading my CPU from a AMD Athlon 7750 dual core processor to a quad core processor. My motherboard will accept AM2+ and AM3 sockets. I was thinking of the AMD Phenom 9850 or the AMD Athlon 2 X4 620 Propus. I want something that will help Grand Theft Auto 4 run better but I can't decide which CPU to get and I think that my video card is good enough to run it its just the CPU. My video card is a Nvidia 9600gt. Please reply.
