The PC will always be better, just due to the rate of which the hardware is being updated and expanded. The gamma was only higher in the PC screens compared to the 360 and PS3. The thing is, people who are hard core gamers with PCs have $3000 to buy a killer system. Besides, you can do quite a bit with a PC as well, that isn't really possible on the 360 and PS3, unless you hack it. I know there has been some posts about how the PC's hardware is far superior. That's not exactly true. The 360 might have a triple-core 3.2ghz processor, however, these three cores are dedicated to the game. The computer has to perform other processes while playing the game as well, such as viral protection, svchost, explorer which are all critical to the operation of the operating system. Also, the PS3 has an 8 minor processors, along with another 3.2ghz processor which assess the work to be done, and transfers data to the other processors, which greatly optimizes the system.
