@Blood_Angel @AM4D3U5

@Blood_Angel @AM4D3U5 lulz, just the other day (1995) something called Physical Address Extension came out. You may wanna check it out. True that with a 32 bit cpu EACH PROCESS can only use 4gb of ram, a 32 bit cpu actually has a maximum memory capacity of 64gb.

I am also not denying that it is possible that the Xbox One has 64 bit architechture, only that while Game Informer and GameSpot and gaming blogs all seem to agree that it is in fact 64 bit cpus - Microsoft has said x86. Not x86-64, not x64. I don't know where you get your facts Jack, but you should try reading more.

@BetaVulgaris Why, is M$ going to run into your house after you buy an Xbox One and steal your 360 so you can't use it to game anymore? Or is having two consoles under your TV too unsightly and hideous for you to even consider? I agree that the console should be backwards compatible, but that isn't the dealbreaker for me. I am much more upset that you will no longer be able to played used games on this piece of shit - companies like M$ don't give a **** about end user experience so long as they squeeze every possible cent out of you that they can...

@Shahada1976 @AM4D3U5 Do you understand the difference between x86 and x64? I see you regurgitated what OP said in the article, which was very informative </sarcasm>, but could you please elaborate a bit more. What I am failing to understand is why Microsoft just emailed me saying it was 8 x86 processors. What do you know that they don't, or what am I missing?

@Danny_KickAzz @JPL1982 You sir, are an idiot. Developers and publishers are not being killed by used and pirated games, that idea is a facade. Just like pirated movies and music are killing the RIAA and MPAA (also a facade). EA made 4.14 BILLION dollars in 2012 according to marketwatch.com. Grow a pair of balls and stop being such a sheep, and learn to think for yourself.

"Microsoft's new Xbox One uses an new x64 processor" - Okay, aside from bad grammar I don't think that this is accurate. M$ just sent me a promo email for the Xbox one where they shamefully boasted of a x86 processor: "An 8-core x86 processor lets you instantly switch between a game and your entertainment apps with ease."

If this is the case, then why are so many news stories boasting of 64 bit architecture? I'm confuddled.
