It's not the memorystick.... I've had this 1 gig for I don't know how long.... This is the first time it's tried such a thing on me. I have had my PSP crash on me multiple times, but who hasn't ;P  Only yesterday did it start saving it in the .mp4 file, but before, it would just save it as the usual .mpg in a subfolder.

If someone else has already stated this, plz tell.

My PSP has been doing something that hasn't normally been happening. I have had FW 3.30 since it came out and I have been downloading regular .mpg video files to my memorystick and it would just save as it should. But, last night, I tried to download a .mpg and when ever it tried to save the file, it would try to save it as a '.mp4' . I was like "cool, my PSP can now convert .mpg videos without PSP Max Media Manager". I was so enthralled with this happening that I went to my Video option on my PSP to see if I could view the video..... I was sadly disappointed that the recently downloaded '.mp4' ended up with the "Video File Corrupted" (or something like that). If you know what is wrong with this, can you please give me info on how to fix this. I just want to have my PSP working at normal level without any chances of bricking. Thank you for your help!

P.S. Please don't reply if you're just gonna make offensive comments and/or say stuff abotu Custom Firmware and such. I just need the help.
