Gamespot's editorials are always so pointless, like that one where all the person did was complain about mw3's trailer and made an assumption that the world was going to end beause it wasn't as good as mw2's reveal trailer
Online passes dont make me buy the game new, they just make me not buy the game. It's not like i have to buy anyform of their products, so don't try to guilt me if i buy it used
I've never bought an online pass, the only time ive bought a game with an online pass was when i wanted a game enough to want to buy it new or wasnt expecting to get a online pass when i was buying a game used but the clerk gave me an online pass for free anyways. I mostly buy games when they cost $10-$20 since i cant really afford to pay $60 for every game i want, and when i buy a game used it usually means im buying a game i wouldnt have bought if i couldnt buy it used. So online passes really affect my decision whether or not im going to buy a game or not, and that means im less likely to ever buy a sequel to that game new But im only one customer out of millions.
