That's a hard question to answer. I love both of the consoles, but i am going to have to say the Playstation 1 simply because of Crash Bandicoot and Spyro!

I may not be much of help since I only have played the beta version but I remember having the same problem. I kept pressing all of the buttons to see which one would work to allow me to talk. I finally figured out that I wasn't talking loud enough. (No buttons need to be pressed) Go to your mic settings on your ps3 and turn your mic volume all the way to 5. Then try to speak. People should hear you now.

Again this was when I was playing the beta version. I don't know if they have changed that option to speak freely or not. Hope this helps :)
