I don't see a way for me to customize my partner in story mode, such as weapon he use just like RE5.  The partner I got in this game feels weak and doesn't help much compared to the one from RE5.  I rather they didn't this part.  It much more fun for me to gear up my partner and have her to do all the killing than have my hands dirty.
