I love how you can tell by the comments who didn't read the Op.
madsnakehhh
You mean the fake link? I noticed, but I thought it was an honest mistake from TC but again, in SW we cant be too sure about the good faith of people...

[QUOTE="4dr1el"][QUOTE="JohnnyCageMK"]Bayonetta and Skyrim are 360 exclusives. We all know this.EzcapeTheFate
ah lol
u wish
Skyrim kinda is though, if you want to play the full complete version that includes DLC, xbox is where its atOne thing is Skyrim, other is Skyrim: Dawnguard...
Thats like saying BioShock is a PS3 exclusive because it has DLC that the X360/PC doesnt have (Challenge Rooms)
Thats idiotic
1 lair what happened to factor 5 after this?
2 haze -this one killed timesplitters 4 before it got going
3 and look at midway , when they made a ps3 game (which one was it by the way) it completely bombed and they went bankrup
mariokart64fan
you're blaming PS3 on the incompetence of 2nd/3rd party devs?
get a grip
1. Lair was a bad game. It did not deserve the sales just because it was from Factor 5.
2. Same as above. If they wanted sales they should have come up with a better game.
3. I dont even know wtf you're talkin about but if I remember correctly Midway was in financial trouble since the PS2 era.
try again

They wanted it to be exclusive to the 360; SEGA forced them to port it.[QUOTE="2Chalupas"]So basically they regret making it 360 exclusive first, instead of PS3 exclusive or multiplat from the get-go as it should have been. Nintendo_Ownes7
and it was a good decision by Sega as it still sold better on the PS3
They should be repent about it. Even with all the bad publicity around it, the PS3 version still sold better then the 360 one. Now imagine how it could have sold if it was a good version on the PS3 from he beggining... had they released a good PS3 version and maybe, just maybe, Bayonetta 2 wouldnt be a WiiU exclusive atm
Most Hack'n'slash fans are on PS3 because they grew up with DMC, Onimusha, GoW, Shinobi (PS2), Genji, etc, etc... releasing a game like Bayonetta exclusively on the 360, as initially intended, would be a suicide. Almost every HnS this gen sold better on PS3 (DMC4, Bayonetta, Castlevania: LoS)

[QUOTE="kuraimen"]Achievements, standard online gaming, persistent online profiles, Xbox Live Arcade, DLC (like it or hate it, it's a contribution to gaming)... What did Sony bring to gaming, exactly?[QUOTE="charizard1605"]
Microsoft has probably brought more to console gaming in the last ten years than Sony has in nearly twice the amount of time.charizard1605
Funny how when people ask something about "contributions to gaming" they refer anything but what really matters... GAMES!
Besides new and unique IPs Sony also introduced dual analog, Eye Toy (being it a success or not truth is that it was the 1st aproach to casual gaming. And please dont even come with Virtual Boy cause that wasnt even close).
The fact alone that Sony has put on the market thousands of 1st, 2nd and 3rd party games throughout the years was alone more contributing than MS adding features that were mostly already on PC to consoles in the 1st place... Besides achievements (that add nothing to gameplay) MS added nothing new to gaming but rather to "console gaming" wich is rather stupid. Gaming =/= Console gaming. Isnt that what most people want to pass out? Oh right, now isnt convenient...
[QUOTE="BPoole96"]Well, that's the end of that. I have more for you, TC :D PS Vita copies Xbox 360's cross game chat Touch screen on the PS Vita? Copy of touch screen gaming introduced by Nintendo 3D Gaming on PS3? Gamecube did it first. The Sixaxis feature in the original PS3 controller was a copy of the Wii's motion sensing capabilities Hell, even Sony's one big thing, which is supposed to be gaming on an optical medium, was first done by Sega. Microsoft has probably brought more to console gaming in the last ten years than Sony has in nearly twice the amount of time.Sony has done nothing but copy this gen
Some examples (And I'm sure there are more)
- PS All Stars copies SSBB
- LBP Karting and Modnation copy Mario Kart
- PS Move copies Wii Waggle
- Uncharted copies Gears of War
- Resistance copies Halo, and then switches to copy CoD
- Killzone copies Halo, and the switches to copying CoD
- Trophies copy achievements
- Several XBL features were copied on PSN

I guess MS now invented cross game chat and Nintendo invented touch screens...
If anything the wiimote is a copy of Eye Toy prototype

1. True
2. What? Does mario Kart own any rights over karting games or somethin?
3. True
4. Why is Gears always referenced as the TPS benchmark? What it did was copying the over-the-shoulder view from RE4 (or Splinter Cell if you want to go there) and a cover mechanic copied from Kill-Switch and voila. Now every game that uses cover mechanics and an over-the-shoulder view is a gears rip-off... Uncharted is no more of a rip-off then gears is. If you go by the "it created something unique by copuing elements" rout then name me one TPS with cover mechanics and over-the-shoulder view with traversal and puzzle elements that came before Uncharted... the same can be applied to it
5. The first Resistance has nothing to do with Halo. Is more Half-Life then anything. R2 is somewhat closer to Halo yes but still FAAAAAR from copying it.
6. Again, lolwut? Killzone (I'm assuming you're talkin about K2 since you've mentioned "this gen") copies Halo???? Ok, now you really dont know sh1t what you're talkin about. K2 was both criticized and loved by being different then anything ever played on consoles. Have you even played K2? I'm guessing not if you say it copied Halo...
7. True
8. Dont know what features but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt
