OK. My xbox dvd drive broke so i went out to buy another BenQ drive but after buying it i found out i need to flash it. What are all the programs i need in order for this to work, is the any good guilds on how to do it.
Iv never done it before but you have to start somewhere.

i cant send it to a repair service cause am out of warrant.

also i heard there is a special code on my old dvd drive which matches my motherboard and i need to get that code on my new dvd drive

I paid for 12 months via Credit Card last june. Its coming near june now and i dont want another 12 months only 6 or 3 months, if i get a pre paid card and put the code in before june will that stop it from renewing or will it renew and count the pre paid card as well.
