I don't understand what people mean by "console" game and "handheld" game. Games are games. I suppose people want more simplistic games on a handheld and the more complex games on the main console. Every type of game was once a main console type of game. DS, GBA, and even GB games were once games that people played on consoles. Dragon Quest 4 was on the NES. Chrono Trigger was on the SNES. Kirby was on almost all main Nintendo platforms. So I don't quite understand why people have a problem with current hardware being in a handheld form. I can understand it from a batter life perspective. This whole issue with console games vs handheld games is stupid. All types of games can be on both consoles and handhelds.

The fact is, I DONT want to play these huge game on a NGP, that's what your TV and such is for. Portable gaming, is pick up and go, passing time and such.
What is your premise for a game that deserves to be in a TV as opposed to being a pick and go title?
Also, this is not strictly speaking an NGP problem as much as you wishing to play games on your TV and at home.
Final Fantasy 4 for example, I loved it for the GBA, but I could honestly not play it on a TV (knew it was originally a console game), same with Uncharted 2 for handheld. It's hard to explain, but I just don't like it, ya know? Lol.
