I think I will be buying PES games on Wii from now on despite the few flaws.....
PES 2008's main attraction to me was it being 'the first official football game on Wii', excluding stuff like 'Mario strikers charged'. Because of it being the first football game on wii it was going to need some rather creative control types rather than sitting down using arrows and the 1 and 2 buttons. They pulled this off perfectly, and this was the best thing about the game, the gameplay. Shake nunchuck to shoot, hold and drag A to dribble, point and B to pass, and so on. It was GREAT.
The big letdown for me was graphics. Looked rather old and boxy, the crowd was sort of pixelized, and the players just didn't look like there real selves at all. Commentary was pretty bad too, the same line or phrase would be repeated at least 2 or 3 times a game, and there was no enthusiasm to it either, I can remember the commentators on FIFA 03 (My Favourite FIFA) for PS1 being more lively than this!
The new game mode 'champions road' was good too, although it is pretty much similar to manager mode on the FIFA games.

Sound: 8 (All good besides the commentary)
Gameplay: 10 (Without a doubt)
Price: 10 (Paid £5 for it pre-owned, definitely worth it)
OVERALL: 8.5 (Worth adding to your collection!)
