Give me a break from Prison Break, well, at least from this slight let-down of a title!!

To start with I only played this game as a family member already had the title. I was a fan of the series of the show at one stage (Series 1 & 2) and was wondering how this game would stack up considering that most film / series conversions to videogame do not normally translate very well.

I have to admit that this game is no different in this regard. Graphically, the game is actually pretty good which no major flaws. The controls were okay and you quickly became accustomed to the 'hide and sneek' style controls. The AI is on the poor side but there were small glimces of tension when you thought you were about to be caught by the in-game guards. Some of the tasks did border on the frustrating side, however, this cannot be said for the most part.

Challenges were set at a reasonable level and dependent on the chosen difficulty setting. The storyline follows that of the series and did this fairly well to a degree.

The title itself consisted of 9 chapters with automatic save points when passing specific checkpoints. I completed the game in under 9 hours in believe and was a fairly satisfying title to experience, however, i would only recommend this to hardcore fans of the series. The game to me offers no replay value on completion, despite having the option to fight characters from the show in-game.

Overall, a 5/10 for me, a good game for passing a few hours and more a cheap rental than a purchase for the collection.
