One hour is all the time the prince has to escape prison, slay guards, solve puzzles, and rescue the princess... in HD!
The prince is an orphan living on the streets. One day he catches a glimpse of the princess and falls madly in love with her, she shares the same feelings towards him despite thier class differences. The game starts with the sultan of persia being called away to war in a foriegn land. Taking this opportunity the evil Vizier Jaffar gives the princess two options: marry him or die, so that he may take the throne for himself. He gives her one hour to make this life changing decision. Now the imprisoned prince must rescue her within the hour or thier love will be lost forever and Jaffars evil rule over the kingdom will begin.
Prince of Persia Classic is the perfect example of how to bring a classic game onto the next generation of consoles. It still has the same feel of the original game but with more enemies, updated graphics, and new puzzles. The princes clothes have also been updated to relate him even more to the newer looking prince of persia from the sands of time series that we all know.
The gameplay is an improved version of the original game so it's great fun!
The graphics are breathtaking for a remake of a game made in 1989.
The sound is good: the lack of in-game music shows you the seriousness of the princes situation and gives you the ability to make life threatening decisions without destraction.
Overall i would reccommend this game for a fan of the series. It truely is a perfect transition into the next gen.
