The best Nintendo DS game I have ever played.

Pokemon SoulSilver is an absolute masterpiece. This is how the Johto journey was meant to be experienced. Out of all of the video game remakes I have played, this one tops them all. I played the original Silver Version, and I loved it. However, this game goes multiple steps further. To me, SoulSilver is an amazing combination of the original Silver Version, the updates in Crystal Version, and the innovations with the Nintendo DS that are present in the newer Pokemon games. I originally said that Pokemon Crystal was my favorite Pokemon game, but since I started playing this, my opinion has changed. SoulSilver is, without a doubt, my all-time favorite Pokemon game. The graphics are absolutely amazing and I love the idea of a Pokemon journey that is in 3D. I liked FireRed and LeafGreen, but I feel that they were just repeats of the original titles. I know that many might say that an enhanced remake is just a repeat of the original, but this game is very unique. I call it a "classic story re-lived in a new way." Just like in the opening song to Pokemon: Johto Journeys, it IS a whole new world. I recommend this game to any Pokemon fan.
