Shake it like a Pokemon picture

User Rating: 8.5 | Pokemon Snap N64
Of all the Pokémon spin-offs that were released during the series' first big craze, Pokémon Snap is by far our favourite. It's great fun and really deserves a sequel. I think using the Wiimote as the camera would be a good idea but that's just me.

The game puts you in the role of Todd Snap, a Pokémon photographer who's been hired by Professor Oak to take photos of various Pokémon to illustrate his reports. This involves going through seven on-rails levels where you have to take photos of various Pokémon in their natural habitats. Think Sin and Punishment with more cameras and Pokémon and less guns and aliens. There's loads of replay value here (you unlock tools that allow you to take different routes), and as a Wii-only feature, you can now stick any photos you take on your Wii message board and send them to your mates. The graphics are awesome for a N64 game, it looks like an early 3rd part GameCube game.
