The 3rd generation of Pokemon sets out what it is meant to do
Gameplay:In this game you can play as a boy or girl so it is fair,because in previous Pokemon games you had to play as a boy,which ever you choose won't make any difference,part from your rival in the game will be the boy if you play as the girl,or the girl if you play as the boy, your character appearance will be different as well(obviously).You start the game in Littleroot town and you go and talk to other people and eventually you see the new professor,his name is professor Birch,and a Pokemon starts chasing him, in his bag you find 3 Pokemon,Torchic=fire,Mudkip=Water,Treeko=grass, then you beat the Pokemon chasing Birch,then you save him, after he gives you a Pokemon(the 1 you used).Then, your adventure starts as you try to complete your Pokedex and beat all the gym leaders, just like all the other Pokemon games,there is a LOT to do in the game you can battle like the other Pokemon games,enter contests,where you use you Pokemon moves and score points and if your Pokemon scores the highest you get a ribbon,also the battle style and your main quest which is beating the gym leaders is identical,which has never been a bad thing.
Graphics:The graphics has largely increased from previous games, mainly because it's on the GBA,there's new effects, way more colour and detail in the Pokemon and the environment, and it's fun looking around and seeing new Pokemon attacks in better graphics.
Sound:The game uses sounds from the previous games, so you can recognize the voices of the Pokemon, there's 100 new Pokemon with new voices which is a nice addition ,there's a lot of sound effects as well, while your Pokemon attacks or while you go around the Hoenn
Value:The story of the game WILL last you for at least 40 hours(unless, you rush the game and don't train your Pokemon probably),but you will be playing the game way more than that,I've been playing for about 200 hours,by catching all the Pokemon, making my Pokemon squad at lv100,and getting all the ribbons. Pokemon fans will not be disappointed
My tilt:I think gamefreak have really done a excellent job with the other Pokemon games,and this 1 is good for probably anyone,the fans will be happy staying home,playing this all day,at times the game can be repetitive,but it really doesn't make the game bad,at all.
OVERALL:Pokemon has always been a success and this is another big one ,new players can experience the world of Pokemon,and the fans get exactly what they want,so don't miss out on this great adventure.
