Ahh pokemon, probably one of the largest gaming franchises out there. They throw out new a few new games every year. You'd think that'd mean these simple remakes are going to be of poor quality, but they're not. Pokemon leafgreen is a great game that really did a good job in trying to bring back everyones old memories of red and blue. The graphics are great and the effects on the battlefield are equally stunning. The story is interesting and even after you beat the main game (conquering the pokemon league) there are still plenty of mini stories to follow such as the gems needed to power the special trade thing on 1 island. The gameplay is fun and addicting and you really get the feeling that you well gotta catch em' all. The game is easy to understand for newbies to the pokemon series but also provides the challenge and thrills returning fans are looking for. Overall, pokemon leafgreen is an amazing game, nowadays many people will probably pass by it in the store thinking it's some cruddy old game (as today the gameboy is pretty much obsolete) but next time you go to a store that sells video games and you see a little old leafgreen just lying there, pick it up, it'll be worth it.
