Pokemon Emerald fun
This game is no different from the other titles. The only real difference is that you get more pokemon. You train these pokemon against other trainers and wild pokemon along the way. You start out with one of three pokemon and have to catch more and more along the way. You train your pokemon to move up levels and learn new stronger moves from a range of attacks.
After you've trained your pokemon you will battle gym leaders. These are trainers who are advanced and own there own gym. Who have to defeat them and get new bages from them to enter new areas. Once you get a badge your pokemon will be able to obey you at higher levels. After you defeat the gym leaders you move on to the final four or something along those lines. These trainers are extremely strong and almost undefeatable. Well not really you just have to be good. Once you beat them you have to battle your rival (a girl named may). She has the starting pokemon (the pokemon that you choose at the start of the game) that is supereffective against the starting pokemon you picked. You can defeat her also if your pokemon are trained right.
The world you travel in is fairly large. You go to different places all the time searching for new gyms and trainers. In different places you will find out that you find new pokemon that are already strong. This in a way is a bad thing beacause you can't train them yourself making them weaker than if you were to train them. If this bothers you go to the day care center and breed your pokemon to make a baby.
This game is a definite buy forr anyone who likes turn based fighting and is a fan of the series. Don't expect anything new.
