Pixeljunk eden is a very, very weird game. It is a new genre in gaming, I´d say it´s half 2-D platformer, half spider sim. The goal of the game is to fill your Eden with plants. To do so, you must collect Spectra, which is an energy that makes things grow. To gather Spectra you enter gardens through your Eden which is the main hub.Inside the gardens, you have to guide Grimp(a portmanteau of jump and grip.)to the Spectra by jumping and then grip to plants then swing to another plant and collect pollen to bloom the plant on top of you...So you follow that process until you get the spectra. After getting all the spectra in that garden, you exit to your Eden an see a new plant grow.Fortunately the newgrown plant is tall enough to help you reach a portal to a new garden. PJE is one of the first games to support trophies, unfortunately, I haven't checked it out yet. And it also has leaderboards. This is a technically impressive game the visuals and aesthrtic are very fresh and cool looking. The music gives a new meaning to the word "Funky", it has a great score created by Baiyon. And it gives a good bang for your buck being only $10.00.If you have a party of three you can play with two friends. Overall, Pixeljunk Eden comes together in a great package and is a great choice if you're bored or stressed out to "funk" up your day.
