This might be the best game of it's time - it had tons of action - it was very challenging and is still fun to play now
I'm not sure what to say about this game that probably hasnt already been said time and time again. This game was amazingly solid - yet so simple in concept and gameplay that anyone could pick it up.
I was really young when I first played this and could hold my own with my older brother.
It's a very addicting game in that it was very hard - people still play this game every day - the sound was cheesy but good. For the time they made perfect sense.
There are so many platformers based off of this game. Prince of persia, and most recently TRINE has so many aspects of Pitfall it's amazing.
Overall - this game was a revolutionary title for the time and has staying power through the roof - this is one of those gaming classics.
