Captain Jack Sparrow returns for another adventure in At World's End.

User Rating: 6 | Disney Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End PSP
The good: Funny finishing moves and great environments and good voice-acting.

The bad: As if there is no story, no combos just tap the same button, Ai is mediocre and not many unlockables.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is the third installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean legacy. The story is concentrated on pirates and the series protagonist, Captain Jack Sparrow.

This review is not going to be long cause there is nothing much to say about this game.
You play the game as Captain Jack Sparrow and sometimes some of his friends. The game is a hack and slash type of game. The thing about this hack and slash is like any other hack and slash, just press the one button to do attacks. You use the square button for attack, then you can also defend yourself a bit by dodging then press square and your enemy dies. This sequence can be fun at first when you dodge and the enemy looks stupidly at you by dodging and then you can go and attack and kill them but then it gets boring at one point.

The story is a bit as if there is no story. you just walk through places, fight, walk and get to a boss, beat the boss and walk again. At one point you'll just see the story end when you finish the last boss.
There are some funny and nice parts like when you're up against a boss and you're about to win, you can do a finishing move like Jack will point to the sky, the boss looks stupidly and then you can kick or push him down the ledge or give him the finishing blow, but this gets dry at one point.

The graphics are quite good and the environments are very nice but sometimes the colours may look washed out on the PSP.

The game is not bad but it's that good too, it's just managable. Maybe you'll be able to play it for one hour and take a break cause it gets boring. I think the game was aimed for the younger ones but also for the older ones too. I went in with high hopes because of the movie but came out with a bad taste in my mouth. For me, this game is worth a rental.
