The Phantasy Star series returns with Phantasy star universe, which in my opinion, is better than all the rest.
The swords, daggers, handguns, world and characters are all great in PSU, and surpass alot of games out there. Its easy for new fans to get into, and even if you have no access to online play, the single player mode has enough depth to keep you playing for 80 hours.
Graphics
Not to bad. Animations are well done, and textures are good. Although the in-game cut scenes could have been better, but the CG scenes are really nice, and there are alot of them throughout the game.
Sound
The voices are really good, and the attack sounds, blasters and what not are all well done. The music is pretty good, but alot of the times, the same tune playing over and over can get quite annoying.
Value
Amazing value. If you have online mode, your playing this game for at least another year. For those people who don't have online, the game is still lengthy and deep in the single player mode. The game is like a 2 in 1 deal.
Overall
PSU is a complete success. The story mode is amazing, from the characters, to the actual story line. Online is an added bonus, it will take up alot of hours of your time, and is extremely fun at the same time. PSU is definitley a buy for someone who likes the "epic" sort of thing. For anyone else, they should at least give PSU a test run, because if you dont, your missing out on alot my friend.
