Bye-bye, social life, hello, phantasy social life.

Phantasy Star Online: BB is apparently about a doomed planet named Coral, and you are a futuristic warrior named... whatever you named your player. You can play as a Hunter, good with swords, (Sabers, actually, but...) a Ranger, good with guns, or a Force, good with a thing called technique, which is kind of like... futuristic magic. My gripes: gameplay; it takes a while to find a good spot on an enemy to attack, and even if you do, you could miss, and they might not. Also, it takes a really long time to level up, and until then, you are every enemy's lunch. And, you can only level up by killing monsters, and it's very hard to do. If you're willing to spend a LOT of time, then this game is probably one of the best you'll ever play. Graphics; The graphics are very, very good, and it doesn't take alot of PC power to make it look good. However, far, far off in the distance, the graphics turn white. In open areas like the forest, it is a bit of a concern, but in closed off areas like the mine, or the cave, it isn't that big of a deal. Sound; The sound reminds me of Sonic Adventure, alot. The misty, techno songs are simply breathtaking, making the sound right up with Banjo-Kazooie, or Chrono Cross. The only reason it says I spent such a small time on it is because I got it yesterday (28th Dec). The game is, considering the title, a great multiplayer, but it's really best in co-op.
All-in-all, if you like... oh, just buy the damn thing. The biggest problem is the cost. It costs money to get a Guild Card, I think, it costs money to get a Hunters License, then there's monthly fee... Get it if you're rich, warez it if you're poor. NO, NO!!! WAIT, NO DON'T WAREZ IT!!! DON'T!!!!
