THIS GAME WAS SOOOO WORTH PAYING FULL PRICE FOR!! Perfect Dark takes all that was good about Rare's first N64 hit, Goldeneye, and did nothing but improve upon it. The weapon system has improved with the addition of secondary functions to almost every weapon, yet maintained the basic cycling system for a faster learning curve. The graphics have improved and boast a rather decent showing for N64. The maps, the weapon types, the character models and story lines, the multiplayer co-op and COUNTER-op modes all add up to one GINORMOUS (not a misspelling) hit. I've had the game for a total of about 4 years and I STILL think it's one of the greats. For anyone who still has a Nintendo 64, but does not yet own Perfect Dark, YOU NEED TO GET IT NOW!! Totally fantastic from its customizable scenario and character models right down to the basic one-player story mode. Start to finish, it's a TRUE Nintendo video game of quality. Perfect Dark is a PERFECT 10.
